If money is tight a low cost solution is headphones. Let him put them on and leave you and anyone else in the room. Another solution is to allow him (and only him unless you have an invitation) to utilise the bedroom as a daytime or weekend office. A medium cost solution is a shed – a place which only he can escape to. If you can’t afford a mansion can you convert a loft or cellar space into a den especially for him? Fill it with technological equipment - as much as you can afford or at very least a large flat screen for him and his mates to watch football.

This is absolutely spot on, ihave lived with an Aquarian for 10 years and he has his own beautiful tv room with all sorts of gadgets and jukebox and bar etc etc, he even has a seperate bedroom. We are now in the process of parting, as the time alone has become longer and longer till being together does not exist at all. Having space and time alone was all his idea, i was upset at first but came round, now he is telling everyone how lonely he has been for years, what a hypocrite.
